What is counselling?

 

Counselling is a talking therapy where a trained counsellor listens and helps you find ways to deal with emotional issues

Difficult emotions e.g. low self esteem or anger

 

Difficult life events such as bereavements, relationship breakdowns or loss of a job

 

Mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders

 

What happens in a counselling session?

 

You will be encouraged to talk about your emotions and thoughts and the counsellor will listen without judging you.

 

The counsellor will help you to gain a better understanding of your thoughts and feelings so you can find solutions to your problems

 

Where will the sessions take place?

 

Counselling sessions through Completely You can take place over the phone or via video due to Covid 19
